CDDFT NHS Foundation Trust- Present Job\r\nEmergency/ Urgent Care Practitioner\r\n\r\n Responsible for providing telephone advice and face to face consultations presenting with unscheduled primary care conditions and minor illnesses at a clinical base. \r\n Acted as an autonomous clinician to take responsibility for the assessment, treatment and discharge of patients- prescribed various medications adhering to patient group directions. \r\n Managing See and Treat in a busy emergency department treating all minor injuries/ illness; ordering and interpreting x-rays as wells as determining treatment/ referral pathways. \r\n\r\nJubilee Medical Group- 10/01/14\r\nParamedic Practitioner\r\n\r\n Undertake face to face assessment and treatment of patients who are invited to base for consultations or undertake home visits, in accordance with the relevant protocols. \r\n Provide assessment treatment and diagnosis at point of first contact, by attending to patients in a clinical or non- clinical setting according to patient’s needs. \r\n Refer patients to an alternative care setting or treat and discharge as appropriate. \r\n\r\nNorth East Ambulance Service NHS Trust- 06/2006\r\nParamedic\r\n\r\n Attend cases of accident, sudden illness, urgent, special and planned patient journeys, applying the appropriate patient resuscitative/treatment procedures.\r\n Complete all documentation relating to patients attended and journeys. \r\n Undertake supervisory duties of less experienced staff as and when necessary. \r\n\r\n
