Worked as a nurse in various field since 1996 namely within the surgical directorate for the first 8 years the primary care after that until this day. I have a lot of experience in health promotion and I am a true advocate for preventing ill health and promoting good health via an array of health promotion activities and education. Although there is a place for what I term reactive healthcare I truly believe that if we empower individuals , families and communities with knowledge on how to keep themselves healthy we will improve the quality of life for those individuals as well as reduce the financial cost of reactive healthcare.
