RESPONSIBILITIES \r\n1. Comprehensive understanding of road safety signs. \r\n2. Loading and unloading goods onto a truck.\r\n3. Ensuring a load is secure and that the weight is distributed properly on the truck. \r\n4. Using standard vehicle equipment like tail lifts, pallet trucks and stillages.\r\n5. Knowledge of Google Maps & other navigation systems.\r\n6. Delivering goods to schedule and on time.\r\n7. Knowledge of driving HGVs, LGVs and semi-trailers. \r\n8. Inspecting a truck for mechanical defects prior to departure and also ensuring that the cargo is properly loaded &\r\nsecure.\r\n9. Supporting company warehouse and shop floor staff when required to. \r\n10. Completing all necessary administrative paperwork.\r\n11. Ability to read maps & follow signals from a loading crew.\r\n12. Filling in a truck inspection sheet.\r\n13. Following established ISO quality operating procedures
