I have worked as a consultant representing myself, as Mean Encounters since 2000. I have held numerous positions during this time worth mentioning:\r\n\r\nEA to Chairman, David Ciclitira of Live Company Group, UK - 2021 - 2023\r\n\r\nI fulfilled all related duties (and more!) of a EA role with an AIM listed company with efficiency and a high level of discretion that was required. This included personal matters. I was delegated numerous event management tasks for our international events and was often chief liaison with Korean parties. I was in charge of all VIP hospitality at all the events ensuring all ambassadors and embassy staff, stakeholders, potential investors, partners and board members were all taken care of with the highest level of professionalism and service. I prepared most of the event timelines and was responsible for managing the teams ensuring all deadlines were met. I prepared comprehensive production event manuals documenting the StART art fair and our KPOP super concerts.\r\n\r\nPrivate Home Executive - managed and paid by Arx Pangaia - 2019-2020\r\nI was responsible for the delivery of the health and welfare of a multi-generational family living on a large estate in Constantia. This included management and training of staff, F&B procurement and delivery and all event management for the numerous events they would host throughout the year.\r\n\r\nAssociate Producer - The Wine Show & Bierfest - 2012 - 2017\r\nResponsible for the administration, delivery and growth of 6 national touring events around South Africa including budget thereof. The role involved overseeing all operation, sales and marketing strategies and team, ensuring all experiential marketing deliverables were successfully executed. I was responsible for creating and implementing a VIP hospitality element to the event. In January 2017, we were awarded the AAXO Award for Best Consumer Exhibition in the 1-6000sqm category. Prior to this, I also held the position of Private Event Manager and Head of Production for Bierfest, a national touring beer festival under the same company umbrella.
