Fibonacci Interior Design & Landscaping\r\nDesign manager\r\nFEB 2016- CURRENT\r\n\r\n• Preparing Concept Designs;\r\n• Managing a design team;\r\n• Managing the design process using commercial, contractual, programme/time awareness and the technical expertise;\r\n• Supporting and advising the client as to the requirements and his/her obligations in the development of a building design;\r\n• Review drawings, specification and other related contract documents;\r\n• Review and approve shop drawings in accordance with contract documents.\r\n• Preparing & Reviewing Tender Package;\r\n• Follow up with suppliers, quotations and activities on site;\r\n• Preparing & Issuing BOQ’s, Quotations & LPO’s;\r\n• Ensuring the design process recognises current legislation, standards and codes of practice where appropriate;\r\n• Ensuring design information is of the right quality and keeps pace with project timescales\r\n\r\nReaction Project Management\r\nProject/Design manager\r\nSEP 2014-Nov 2015\r\n\r\nResponsible for multiple projects simultaneously, from pre-Tender/Contract stage to the handover phase with Jumeirah, being the essential client.\r\n\r\nTasks include but not limited to the following:\r\n\r\n• Preparing Projects’ Initiation documentation\r\n• Developing Programmes from indicative to detail construction programme. \r\n• Prepare and develop logistics plans and preliminaries directory.\r\n• Assisting in Preparing tender documents, e.g. Employers Requirements and RFP’s.\r\n• Preparing RFQ’s for FM, soft and MEP services.\r\n• Conduct Procurement then assess the return bids.\r\n• Responding to RFI’s coming from Consultant/Contractor.\r\n• A member of the tender opening committee.\r\n• Tracking activities against the detailed project plans.\r\n• Risk Assessment. \r\n• Arranging and Attending various meetings-as needed- with contractors and consultants as a client representative.\r\n• Following up with variations, delays and Orders from the consultant/contractor.\r\n• Identifying, costing, evaluating and processing any contract variations.\r\n• Issuing payment certificates, PMI’s, File Notes, change control/management forms.\r\n• Preparing reports and Meeting minutes.\r\n• Appraising and examining returned RFP’s along with all qualifications required, Financially and Technically.\r\n• Making a final recommendation based on the appraisal.\r\n• Following up with each stage of the project via emails and site visits, including procurements and delivery schedules.\r\n• Reviewing and Approving/Rejecting submittals as per employers requirements.\r\n• Reviewing and Approving/Rejecting materials as per design.\r\n• Part of the snagging team for project’s handover, reviewing snags and follow up to close out all pending issues.\r\nDesign resource center\r\nArchitect/project coordinator\r\nSEP 2013-AUG 2014\r\nResponsible for the project from A to Z :\r\n\r\n• Interior design\r\n• Space Planning\r\n• Creating Project Mood-boards & Preparing presentations.\r\n• Fit-out\r\n• Making and reviewing shop drawings.\r\n• Contacting suppliers for samples and quotations.\r\n• Communicating and coordinating with consultant, contractor and client.\r\n• Constant site visits to manage and control the work.\r\n• Materials selection.\r\n• Preparing specification sheets.\r\n• Preparing BOQ’s.\r\n\r\nDMF Engineering\r\nArchitect \r\nSEP 2011-AUG 2013\r\n• Landscaping , Prepare & develop Architectural Concept designs\r\n• Developed schematic designs, and presentations.\r\n• Prepare Architecture Tender Documents.\r\n• Designing residential and commercial projects. \r\n
