Tetramer Technologies - Scientist - 2014 to Current. At Tetramer, I am involved in the polymer synthesis and the physical characterization of optical polymers. Previous projects include formulation, optimization and testing of adhesives for fiber optics.\r\n\r\nClemson University - Undergraduate Researcher - 2011 to 2013. Under Dr. Julia Brumaghim, I investigated the specific interactions between similar transition metals (Fe, Co, and Cu), the production of radical oxygen species when in the presence of hydroxides, and their reduction by the presence of antioxidants (gallols and catechols).\r\n\r\nWorthington Biochemical - Intern - Summer 2010. At Worthington, I studied gene replication and expression of yeast. Responsibilities included replica plating, gene amplification by polymerase chain reaction, fermentation, sterilization, gel electrophoresis, media preparation and other biochemical techniques.
