Consultant for Banking client, providing engineering based services, managing a file transfer suite(SFG, Sterling integrator, sterling secure proxy, Connect Direct) installation, maintenance and business process development to enable Barclays to do internal and external file transfers using various protocols like SWIFT File Act, FTPS, SFTP, HTTPS and Connect: Direct; including the installation and configuration of Connect: Direct on Windows, UNIX and mainframe environments. Worked collaboratively with clients and project team members to deliver technical project(s) that meet or exceed the client’s needs. Worked with clients to document their business needs and to translate those requirements into the technology application stack/solution to-be delivered. Exposure to technology and framework through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which includes capturing client requirements, designing a solution that meets their needs, building technical artifacts, testing the system, and deploying the whole package for a successful go-live.\r\nKey Achievements:\r\n- Directed the design, development, and implementation of a new transfer solution called Tibco MFT command centre currently transferring 12TB of files per month.\r\n- Led the design, development, and implementation of an external file transfer solution called Data Transmission Utility currently transferring 6TB of files per month.\r\n- Awarded star of the quarter for innovating the documented tasks with python across the bank.
