Wake-up Call For Pilots

Posted on: 10.06.2013    11:17:47

We are recruiting experienced pilots and first officers from around the world principally for waiting clients in Asian Countries and Australia.

All Employers want the cream of the crop and Pilots already securely flying have less incentive to look around than those at the start or end of their careers as they don’t perceive they have a problem. Is this really true?

All Pilots need to ask themselves the following questions:

  1. How secure is my contract and how safe am I in a rapidly changing world?
  2. Are there any indications of financial stress from my Employer – Are they profitable? Are they hiring? Why are they hiring? Is staff turnover increasing? Are routes being added or cut? Are aircraft being purchased or sold? All tell a story. Are you reading the signs? Try a Google search on your Employer – anything scary?
  3. OK, you are happy with your contract and don’t feel undervalued? Well as a human being that makes you unusual. Most of us want to enjoy the best benefits possible, subject to the acceptable impact on our personal lives. The power base has shifted west to east. Do you want to check out what is on offer from Asian and Australian airlines? If you have less than a year to run on your existing contract now is the time to start looking and we are here to help.
  4. Have you suffered from Pilot fatigue? Are you worried about this? It’s a hot topic in 2013. Do you know the name of the only Airline in the world that safeguards against this by legislation? I think you might be surprised – we were.
