Skills Provision is searching for an Office Coordinator for a retail outfit in Scandinavia.

Location: Bergen, Norway.

The Role

  • Responsible for completing day-to-day operational activities, largely administrative, and coordinating multiple tasks.
  • Prioritise daily activities based upon needs of the company whilst also responding to ad hoc requests.
  • Maintain office schedule and ensure affected parties are aware and prepared for upcoming activities.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support on an as-needed basis.
  • Answer phone calls and direct calls to the Head Office.
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence and emails.
  • Read and analyse incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.

 

Requirements

  • Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in the retail sector.
  • Ability to complete job functions independently with general supervision and oversight.
  • Ability to complete tasks of low to medium priority.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience.
  • Associates degree from an accredited institute beneficial.
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Ability to touch type.
  • Organised and diligent approach.
  • Personable nature.
