Our client is a leading consultation organisation located in Dubai. They provide services in rail, water, education, energy, and roads. They require a H&S Director to help advise on several health and safety related issues.

The Role

The Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Director is responsible for providing leadership and direction on matters relating to occupational health and safety, quality management, environmental management, and corporate social responsibilities. As the most senior member of the Team, you will be responsible for managing and developing all related resources. A member of the Operations Board, you’ll also work with other business leaders to ensure that an understanding of, and commitment to H&S exists across the Group.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
• A relevant environmental management qualification
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience
• Experience as a health and safety practitioner
• Strong understanding of quality and environmental standards, systems, and procedures,
• Knowledge of the construction / consulting / support services sector is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of information security systems and integrated management systems would also be an advantage.
