Vacancy for a Design Engineer in Kuwait

An excellent opportunity exists for a Design Engineer to join an Aerospace company in Kuwait.

They require an experienced engineer to design and develop a range of products.

The Role

• Preparation of material to support Internal Design Reviews (IDRs) and external Formal Design Reviews (DRs).
• Accurate design output; including but not necessarily limited to manufacturing drawings and test specifications/plans for the manufacture and development testing of aerospace components.
• Liaise with and support other departments, thermal design, project engineering, development, and manufacturing engineering.
• Preparation of design files containing weight estimates, stress analysis data along with compliance with design standards and regulatory requirements
• Compliance with the requirements of workflow maps for their project and ensure activities are complete to meet project timescales.

Requirements

• Essential qualifications include HND/degree or equivalent in Mechanical engineering or associated discipline.
• Experience within the Aerospace industry
• Strong technical skills
• Good computer literacy is required together with excellent analytical and communications skills to undertake problem solving.
• Experience of aerospace mechanical design and manufacturing
• Willing to travel
• Ability to strongly represent the company
