Software & Systems Integration Engineer Needed, KSA

Skills Provision is searching for an experienced Software & Systems Integration Engineer to join a globally respected supplier of technology solutions to the defence sector.

The systems engineer will support the design, build and test systems and will involve full systems engineering lifecycle experience from requirements analysis through to design, build, test and acceptance into live service.

The Role

• Preparing design documentation.
• Validating design documentation from subcontractor teams.
• Preparing validation and verification test plans and acceptance test plans.
• Preparing system transition plans, detailed design and scripts and rehearsing and perfecting the solution.
• Resolving system defects.
• Supporting the build phase by implementing designs.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science
• Thorough knowledge and first-hand experience of the systems engineering lifecycle.
• Expertise in the integration and configuration of software to meet defined system requirements.
• Knowledge of the integration of computer hardware including networking in a secure environment.
• Knowledge and experience in planning, designing and implementing system transition to include writing scripts and instructions, sequencing tasks, rehearsing and validating plans.
• Configuration management experience.
• Problem analysis and resolution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience of designing, implementing and supporting applications.
• Experience of designing, implementing and using secure Web services.
