Senior Financial Accountant Required in South Africa

Skills Provision is searching for a Senior Financial Accountant for a leading insurance company in South Africa.

The Senior Financial Account will be required to take responsibility for all financial and regulatory issues for the company.

Salary & Benefits

• R 650,000 pa

The Role

• Review of monthly journals.
• Preparation of financial reports to management and board.
• Preparation/review of client financial reports.
• Preparation/review of group consolidation packs.
• Complete and submit all regulatory reporting forms
• Responsible for annual budgeting process.
• Responsible for annual audit deliverables.
• Performing tax calculations.
• Completing ad hoc submissions to regulators.
• Provide support to product development team.
• Provide support to the administration team.
• Provide support to Statutory Actuary.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations and directives.

Requirements

• Relevant Degree (finance)
• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in the insurance sector
• Natural leader
• Organised and diligent
• Commands respect
