Purchase Manager Needed in Kuwait

Skills Provision is searching for a Purchase Manager for a wood company in the Middle East.

Location: Kuwait

Position: Permanent

The Role

• Receive requests for other units.
• Review quotations and decide on the best offer.
• Review purchase order, and initiate for approval
• Notify concerned units of the purchase order confirmation.
• Search new suppliers.
• Report to the General Manager on progress.
• Analyse monthly purchases.
• Manage and control all activities of his sub-units.
• Attends sectional heads meetings.
• Evaluate employee performance.
• Approve annual leave for the employees under supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance.
• Supplementary qualifications
• Minimum 5 years’ experience for purchasing in local and international, preferably in the wood industry.
• Good command of the English language.
• Strong IT skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Detailed and precise outlook
• Strong team player
• Hard working ethos
