Property Fund Manager Needed in Saudi Arabia

Skills Provision is searching for a Property Fund Manager for a company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Our client is a financial institution based in Riyadh with a property portfolio in excess of $800m, they offer comprehensive integrated real estate expertise.

The Role

• Take full responsibility for sourcing acquisitions in line with Fund Strategy
• Ensure that the Fund performs in line with its performance objectives
• Preparation and implementation of Business plans including identifying value enhancement strategies for the fund’s assets
• Identify, progress and close individual and portfolio wide asset enhancement opportunities
• Oversee and co-ordinate property professionals in all new leases, lease renewals, rent reviews, lease restructures, disposals etc
• Work closely with local developers and real estate service providers
• At all times be up to speed with all investment management, asset management and material property management issues affecting the Fund

Requirements

• MRICS qualified, with at least 10 years’ experience ideally within a real estate investment management team with a fund/investment house.
• Proven track record in property fund management
• Previous involvement in development and joint ventures at a high level
• Track record in property investment management, including hands on investment acquisitions and disposals, ideally (but not essentially) in Middle East.
• Experience of hands-on value enhancement/asset management (e.g. lease re-gearing, refurbishments, surrenders and renewals)
• Effective man management skills (as relevant to managing property managers, valuers, lawyers and other consultants.)
• A good understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Able to demonstrate creative/innovative thinking and show entrepreneurial flair
