Project Engineers Needed in Scotland

Our client operates an Oil and Gas Manufacturing company within the United Kingdom. They have a requirement for 3 Project Engineers.

The Role

Reporting to the Projects Operations Manager you will liaise with the Project Manager and provide the technical lead across engineering areas throughout the Project Life Cycle. Responsibilities include:

• First port of call for technical support from a project management perspective
• Technical responsibility for the project from award to delivery/installation / trials
• Technical integration of design solutions across Deck Equipment / Control System / Underwater System / Vehicle design teams
• Identification of Technical Risks and mitigation plans
• Ensuring specifications for outsourced components and/or assemblies are complete, creating or completed as appropriate
• Technical discussions with key suppliers including inspections/visits as required
• Responsible for test plans / FAT plans
• Responsible for customer installation documents
• Technically lead customer installation and trials

Requirements

• Educated to Degree level or Chartered Engineer in Mechanical / Hydraulic discipline
• Ability to plan and manage technical teams
• Offsite work experience (desirable)
