Production Planning Engineer Needed in Oman

Our client operates in the Aerospace industry. They currently require a Production/Planning Engineer to join their facility.

The Role

• Reporting directly to the Account Manager
• Project control for all design projects – includes managing and scheduling projects to the customer’s requirements, but to suit the capacity of the internal project team
• Direct liaison with customers
• Input with the concept and full design of the products
• Feedback to the design engineering team on the customer’s requirements
• Worldwide travel may be required

Requirements

• Experience within the Aerospace sector. Familiarisation with aircraft maintenance operations, as well as the design of aircraft tooling
• Mechanical engineering qualifications
• Project management experience
• In depth knowledge of mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes
• Aerospace or similar manufacturing industry background
• Design projects experience
• IT literate
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Articulate and numerate
• Capable of working on own and as part of a team
• Flexibility for travel, often with short notice
