MEP Planning Engineer Needed in Saudi Arabia

A major construction and engineering company in the Middle East require an MEP Planning Engineer as soon as possible.

The Role

• Review the main Contractor Construction Program in detail.
• Preparation and releasing Overall Milestone MEP Program with the compliance of the construction program.
• Manage and control target plans.
• Preparation of weekly progress reports.
• Prepare resource reports and update the overall program.
• Preparation of Management reports as and when required.
• Extension of time programs.
• Propose/tentative tender’s MEP program.
• Prepare, supervise, and control the office engineering programmes.
• Monitor, identify and analyse all projects costs.
• Monitor and analyse progress of the construction activities, identifies any variances between the planned and actual progress and advises project management of their impact on the overall program. Also suggests remedial action as necessary.
• Provide overall supervision to his subordinate engineers carrying out the functions of planning, production control and cost control, and is directly responsible for their efficient performance.
• Monitor all change orders to the contract to ensure that all additions and deletions are incorporated in revisions of the construction method statement and overall program of the works.
• Supervise the preparation of the monthly cost report which shows all direct and indirect project costs against the budget.

Requirements

• A formal MEP planning engineer.
• 5-7 years of experience in the field.
• IT literate.
• Organised and detailed operator.
• Natural ability to manage.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Hard working nature.
• Strong team player.
• Viewed as a strong asset to the company.
