Medical Advisor Required in the United Kingdom

We are currently looking for a Medical Advisor, who is GMC registered and has previous experience working in a similar role, to work for a leading medical device company based in the South West of England.

• £86,000 pa

The Role

• Approval of promotional and other materials in accordance with appropriate regulations
• Preparation and delivery of training materials to support new staff as well as continuing training and support of the existing staff on new campaigns and clinical evidence
• Key role in presenting business cases and key clinical evidence to regional and national meetings of key referral groups
• Develop, maintain and coordinate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders especially in the Cardiology, Neurology, Nuclear Medicine and Radiology specialities
• Involved in the dissemination of clinical paper summaries and disease area information
• Participation at regional and national scientific meetings / congresses
• A key contact with regards medical information enquiries and drug safety issues as well as enhancing the speed of approval of marketing materials
• Involvement in the assessment and monitoring of investigator initiated clinical trials

Requirements

• The candidate must be medically qualified and registered
• Ideally will have proven experience in a medical affairs role in industry
• Experience of approving promotional materials in accordance with the appropriate regulations
• Good commercial acumen and experience in a commercial environment
• Good presentation skills
• Experience in any of radiology, nuclear medicine, cardiology or neurology would be an advantage
• Self-motivated and confident team player with attention to detail
• Willing to travel both within region and Europe in general
