Electrical Engineer Required in Munich, Germany

Skills Provision is searching for an Electrical Engineer for a company that manufacture switching gear and systems for the German market.

The Role

• Develop functional test procedures for factory acceptance and commissioning
• Coordination of engineering and design process
• Communication with clients and suppliers where necessary
• Develop control panel layout and wiring diagrams
• Assist in coordination and supervision of designers
• Produce technical reports
• Translation of customer electrical engineering requirements
• Set aggressive targets, accept consequences of actions, and hold others accountable
• Meet the expectations and requirements of all customers
• Deliver on commitments, produce work of the highest quality in a timely and effective manner
• Plan and execute work that is accurate, complete, and reliable
• Deal respectfully, fairly, and decisively with difficult circumstances
• Understand priorities and balance short-term and long-term requirements
• Produce managerial reports

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years industry related experience designing electrical devices, medium voltage preferred.
• Excellent working knowledge of kinematics, linkage design, and analytical tools
• Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional environment
• Fluent in English and German
• Excellent analytical skills is required
• Knowledge of power systems and / or industrial automation and controls
• Familiar with electro-mechanical device design
• Experience using Design of Experiments techniques is a plus
• Working knowledge of design for manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability
• Demonstrated strong technical abilities with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
