Electrical Design Engineer Required in Saudi Arabia

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a company in Saudi Arabia.

The employing company supply mechanical equipment to the oil and gas industry throughout the Middle East.

The Role

• liaise with Electrical Section Leader on design / drawing progress, matters for technical
• clarification / compliance with codes or specifications etc.
• Produce designs in a practical and economic form to suit customers’ requirements and to meet a
• given deadline.
• Produce and/or check working drawings
• Produce proposal electrical diagrams for inclusion in contract tender.
• Interpret electrical specifications at the point of tender to facilitate order
• Co-ordinate on a daily basis, work undertaken by sub-contractors.
• Liaise with sub-contractors to check documentation, ie., drawings, bills of materials.
• Liaise with the workshop to ensure effective completion of design and take a possible hands on
• approach as required.
• Undertake meetings with clients to facilitate effective general contract progress, at client job
• site if required.

Requirements

• Electrical qualification, (HND/Degree)
• Good understanding and design of electrical circuits diagrams.
• Knowledge and practical experience of designing equipment/installations in the Oil and Gas
• Knowledge and practical experience of electrical installations.
• Knowledge and practical experience of hardware and/or software design.
• Knowledge and practical IT experience
• Hard working nature
• Adaptable performer
