Skills Provision is searching for an Earthmoving Equipment Manager for a Mining company in South Africa.

Salary and Benefits

• R 720,000 p/a

The Role

• Control all activity related to Earthmoving Equipment
• Plan workloads for all mechanics
• Ensure all equipment is maintained according to Company and OEM standards
• Be aware of production requirements
• Liaise with Site Managers
• Monitor equipment availability
• Conduct plant inspections
• Ensure the Company’s preventative maintenance systems are adhered to
• Ensure subordinates have the necessary resources
• Liaise with the Senior Plant Manager regarding training and staffing requirements
• Compile maintenance reports

Requirements

• Must be a qualified artisan, preferably Diesel Mechanic
• Currently hold a supervisory position overseeing heavy earthmoving equipment
• At least 10 years’ experience in an opencast mine with earthmoving equipment
• Strong earthmoving equipment knowledge
• Hardworking nature
• Work well within a team
• Inspirational leader
