Commercial Planning Controller needed in Saudi Arabia

Skills Provision is searching for a Freighter Commercial Planning Controller to join a company in the Middle East.

Position – To control, plan; analyse and evaluate all commercial aspects of the operations of all Freighters taking in to account the operational and cost implications for the business.

The Role

• Work with charter customers; decide and agree contractual commitments for all charters. Plan all contracting activity in line with best business practices.
• Based on market feedback from stations; charter customers and Capacity Control; initiate and decide upon re-routings of scheduled freighter services to optimise freighter revenues and maximise opportunities for extra revenue earning.
• Source on an ad-hoc basis sub-leased capacity for regional charter opportunities to take advantage of changes to traffic flows and demand, over and above capabilities of existing capacity.
• Produce post-flight profitability reports on charter operations and ad-hoc schedule changes such as re-routings and temporary operations.

Requirements

• Degree qualified.
• Hold relevant qualifications.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Air cargo sector, minimum supervisor level.
• Hard-working nature.
• Competent on IT software.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
