Automated Systems Supervisor Needed in Czechia

Skills Provision is searching for an Automated Systems Supervisor for a company in Czechia.

The employer is looking for an experienced professional to be responsible for supervising, coaching, training, and monitoring the performance of its Automation Staff.

The Role

• Responsible for the timely scheduling and coordinating of all equipment maintained by the automation department.
• Responsible for staff hiring, training, coaching and addressing performance in a timely manner.
• Identify and perform training for all Material Handling and Automation equipment.
• Responsible for ensuring all maintenance requests are updated to validate hours spent on repairs.
• Regularly maintain database for problems encountered and unscheduled maintenance requests.
• Maintain inventory and prepare quarterly reports on use of spares. Take action to requisition new spares to maintain the appropriate levels of inventory.
• Prepare reports to evaluate repairs for trends and make recommendations to management.
• Maintain, update, and evaluate the KPI’s for the Department on a weekly basis.
• Provide weekly status reports for all systems maintained.
• Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides.
• All other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Technology.
• 5 years supervision experience, ability to coach and train staff.
• Plentiful working experience in Automation
• Fluent in English (written & oral)
• Strong IT skills
• Excellent organisational, administrative, problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to handle difficult situations in a professional manner.
• Must be detail oriented and possess ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong time management skills and be able to meet deadlines.
• Natural leader commanding respect.
• Ability to nurture younger member of the team.
