We are looking for degree qualified engineers with experience in subsea systems, hardware, structures, controls with installation experience.

The Role

• Perform engineering duties as advised under supervision of the Lead and Senior engineers or assigned Manager.
• Preparation of technical notes, reports and decision papers in conjunction with client to define hardware requirements and scope.
• Contribute to equipment selection for field layout and architecture.
• Preparation of preliminary equipment functional specifications.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and project procedures.
• Preparing initial equipment
• Development of testing strategies
• Verifying compliance to Client’s specifications and technical documents.
• Coordination of verification processes for manufacture and qualification testing.
• Liaise with vendors on behalf of client during procurement, manufacture and testing phases.

Requirements

• Relevant degree
• Familiar with wellhead design and drilling interfaces.
• Familiar with types of foundation and or preparation of designs.
• Knowledge of subsea manifold construction and installation.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and legislation.
• Experience in structural and installation design and offshore construction.
• Deepwater development experience desirable.
• Exposure to package engineering over the design, enquiry and project execution cycles.
• Hard working and honest
• Open attitude and willingness to tackle new tasks
• Willingness to work as part of a team
• Good written and verbal communication skills in an engineering environment
• Demonstrates initiative but knows when to ask for help
• Exhibits engineering common sense when problem solving
