I\'ve found that a lot of my past time activities involving doing things that would involve using logical reasoning to solve problems. This would be playing chess, solving sudoku, attempting riddles and logic puzzles, etc. \r\n\r\nI\'m often keen to try something new and develop interest from there. Hence during my time in Hong Kong, I\'d joined the company\'s team and had participated twice in the yearly international dragon boat competition held at Hong Kong. It was also where I\'d the chance to meet and make friends with people from different departments.
- Assistant Teacher at Sunway International School Iskandar (Malaysia, March 2020 - Current)\r\nI had initially volunteered to cover grade 8 & 9 classes as well as giving extra help sessions to the final year students doing the IBDP. I was then recruited as an Assistant Teacher to be the temporary homeroom teacher for Grade 5. When the lessons shifted to be online, I acted as the point of contact between parents and the different subject teachers as we had to communicate daily lesson plans. I\'d quickly picked up using video recording software to create recorded lesson videos. And constantly reviewed feedback from students and parents to improve the quality of the videos and online teaching methods to ensure quality education for the students. \r\n\r\n- Graduate Engineer at Ove Arup & Partner HK Ltd (Hong Kong, December 2017 - June 2019)\r\nI\'d worked in the structure department with a main focus on oversea projects. My day to day tasks include doing design studies and calculations to Eurocode and organising incoming emails/files from third parties. In a short span of time, I\'d learnt and gained strong mastery over parametric processes mainly using Grasshopper 3D. I\'ve used it with great effect in my design works to create adjustable complex models and had conducted optmisation process with several steel designs to reduce up to hundreds of tonnes in steel tonnage.
