Structural Design Engineer (Full-time) - MBA Consulting - Engineering Consultants\r\nTruro, Cornwall, England (October 2018 - November 2020)\r\n-Worked largely independently and took on the technical aspects of structural design work in construction jobs (Calculation packages, specifications, drawings). \r\n-Able to use multiple design software and BIM packages\r\n-Experience in steel/masonry/timber/concrete/reinforced concrete design\r\n\r\nStress Engineer (Freelance) - Castree Consulting - Engineering Consultants\r\nChester, Cheshire, England (June 2017 - Februrary 2019)\r\n-Provided a service to the consultant to model real world loading scenarios for certain structural or mechanical components using Finite Element software \'Abaqus\'. \r\n-Analysed deformation behaviour and stress outputs from the software, compared with existing hand calculations or physical testing data provided by the consultant. Results provided reassurance to both the consultant and their client that the hand calculations and physical testing data were correct.
