I followed the apprenticeship programme unfortunately I was unable to complete this due to covid 19, However, I have since continued to work in the motor trade (painting and panel beating). I have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. I have the ability to take initiative and work well under pressure ensuring deadlines are met and exceeded, am a flexible worker whilst being committed to seeing a project through. I have knowledge of hand and power tools, colour codes, HVLP spray guns, polishing techniques, equipment monitoring and workplace safety . I am able to work on my own or as apart of a team.
My interests are attending football matches and following the sport in general for e.g. European and World cup games. I also enjoy all types of fishing, coarse fishing, sea fishing and game fishing. I enjoy discussing tactics and places to fish with other anglers. I am a keen traveller and enjoy being outdoors, camping etc. I like to explore new places and embrace other cultures.
My latest job im a painter at emergency one i prepare fresh metal panels for fire trucks for paint clean off with solvents and mix up the paint which is Glasurit paint. i started here on 07/2023.\r\n\r\nSpray painter at Bridgend garage during my time here I repaired damaged showroom cars, vans and campervans, repaired with different body fillers, I also used high build primer and prepped for paint I also masked up the jobs and checked the computer for relevant spray out cards. and painted using water base paint. 04/2020 till 07/2022.\r\n\r\nNimmo Coachworks was a spray painter and panel beater. I repaired damage vehicles with different fillers, using the right product to ensure the best finish for the customer. 07/22 07/23
