• Preparation, pricing and finalizing of quotations & tenders.
• Taking off measurement for various works (Civil & MEP)
• Study the tender documents for understanding the scope of work & tender requirement.
• Preparation of technical deliverables & full fill the tender requirement by coordinate with Document Controller.
• Participate in pre-bid meeting & Site visit.
• Ensure timely submittal of tenders & quotations.
• Prepares cost estimate for different phases of the project, advices the project management on possible cost over runs and on the action necessary to remain within the approved project budget.
• Supervise J. Quantity Surveyor & distribute the work to finish tenders & quotation before deadline.
• Review the program of work for submittal.
• Evaluates quotations obtained from different suppliers & subcontractors, ensures quantities and specifications are in line with tender and projects specifications.
• Performs material take offs prior to the purchase requisitions for the projects and reports any irregularities or discrepancies to the project management.
• Check & make correction in Auto CAD drawings for submittal by coordinate with draftsman.
• Works very close with the project team to ensure that measurements, variations and contractual matters are properly recorded and notified.
• Prepare and update material procurement schedule and material status and forwarding to management/ procurement department.
• Performs and implements all post contract duties including but not limited to measurements, preparation of variations orders, interim valuation certificates, final accounts & evaluation reports.
• Preparation of subcontract/ supply agreement for ongoing project.

I have 11 months experience in a building construction company (Eden Engineering (PVT) Ltd.), worked as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor from 05/01/2010 till 09/11/2010.

I have successfully completed three (3) months of industrial training as a trainee Quantity Surveyor in Eden Engineering (PVT) Ltd, and I obtained DISTINCTION for my performance in industrial training.
