Contractor: Orascom Construction Industries. OCI is EPCC contractor for this
Project. SIEMENS AG, Germany will supply all the Gas Turbines and Generators with obligatory Technical Field Advising ( TFA ) services.
Contract value: Approximately 363,000,000 USD.
Project duration: 21 months.
Project location: Erbil , IRAQ.
Key tasks / duties / responsibilities:

• Scheduling, organizing and implementing project-specific QM measures during proposal preparation and project execution (planning and site phase) including preparing the required specialist QM proposal texts and project documentation
• Developing and implementing the Project Quality Plan (PQP), based on the QM system, considering individual project requirements
• Establishing the project quality audit plan internally as well as externally with suppliers / subcontractors
• Performing project quality audits
• Participation in project status meetings, design and engineering reviews
• Evaluating suppliers’ / subcontractors’ QM systems and their QM activities
• Reviewing and approving of all associated suppliers / subcontractors issued QA/QC documentation during project execution (planning and site phase)
• Supervision of site inspections and quality measures
• Monitoring and reporting the quality status and follow-up of non-conformance / corrective actions
• Interface with client quality representative
• Lead of site quality engineers
• Ensuring complete, correct and traceable QA/QC documentation including compliance with all checking and release procedures
• Creating and maintaining a culture of QA/QC awareness and effective use of the standards in the project.
