• Make migration in all PLC system to S7-300 and installing operational panels

Alexandria for chemical terminal (ALXCT):

• Installing and commissioning PLC system (S7-400(H)) and configuration on all instrumentations such as level switches, level transmitters, flow meters, temperature transmitters

Air Liquide Egypt (Alexandria, Egypt):

• Verification of pressure and ball, half control valves and check the instrumentation

ALPHA FOAM:

• Migrate the system from S5 to S7 and make essential installations and install OP 277
• Develop the HMI application of the system using WINCC FELIXABLE

• Understanding customer’s functional requirements

• Preparation of detailed design documentation including system architecture, network design, cabinet drawings, loop drawings etc…
• Develop application logic and associated engineering using industry standard software tools
• Participate in internal testing as well as customer witnessed factory acceptance testing

Zueitina Oil Company, LPG Plant, Libya.
Accomplishments: Part of team implementing control Logic and Emergency Shutdown strategy for new Burner management system consisting of four heaters, including:

• Design of Function Logic diagram for Burner Management System (BMS) for Four Heaters including startup sequence and shut down sequence using sequential control Module (SCM).
• Junction Box Termination Detail, Marshalling cabinets and instrument cable schedule.
• Design of Function Logic Diagram (FLD’s) for Emergency Shutdown System (ESD) for the LPG Plant.
• Review Cause and Effect (C&E)
• Logic implementation for the ESD (Emergency shutdown system) for the plant using Honeywell FSC
• Logic Implementation for Burner Management System (BMS) including startup sequence, normal shutdown for the Four Heaters using Honeywell Experion C-300.

Job title: Senior Project ESD (Emergency Shut Down) Engineer
Major projects
KNPC Shuaiba Refinery Project, Kuwait National Petroleum Co. (KNPC)

• The project scope is to replace 11 ABB August Systems by Safety Managers. Due to the unavailability of remote I/O’s in the Safety Manager the number of SM that will be installed and engineered for this refinery will be 33 and approximate number of I/O’s is close to 10,000 hardwired I/O’s.

Accomplishments

• The work for the first phase covers mark-up deviations between Shuaiba refinery ESD logic diagrams and ESD ladder logic from existing ABB August.
• Participate in commissioning, SAT and start-up phases.

KNPC Al-Ahamadi Refinery, Kuwait National Petroleum Co. (KNPC)
Upgrading of Existing Control System in FUP - CCR with Associated Accessories

• Honeywell scope covers replacing Honeywell TDC 2000 system in WS from 1 to 5 with new Experion PKS DCS system with C300 Controllers and SM shutdown controllers and in WS-6 Honeywell shall upgrade the existing TPS Control panel to the latest Experion TPS platform Control panel.

Accomplishments
Five symmetrical work stations needed to be migrated.
1-DCS (Distributed Control System)

• Including documentations work (FDS, DDS, FAT procedures, SAT procedures…).
• Initiate the HMI Displays using ASM Standard.
• Produce typicals for software implementation in control builder software.
• Participate in configuration of Logic in control Builder software.

2-ESD (Emergency Shutdown System)

• Including documentations work:

• Detailed Site Survey Report
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• System Drawings
• Marshalling Cabinet Layout
• I/O assignment
• Loop Drawings & Wiring Diagram
• Factory Acceptance Test Procedure
• Site Acceptance Test Procedure

• Design of Function Logic Diagram (FLD’s) for Emergency Shutdown System (ESD) for the Plant.
• Initiate Cause and Effect (C&E).
• Logic implementation for the plant using Honeywell SMS.
• Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) in Honeywell Netherland.
• Assistance during start-up & commissioning at customer sites.

Government of Kuwait, Ministry of Electricity and water
Construction and maintenance of 9 Nos. fresh water towers and annexed works at Jaber Al-ahmed city

• The scope of the project telemetry ,instrumentation and control (TIC) works shall comprise the design ,manufacture ,programming and configuration ,off site testing ,delivery to site ,installation ,erection,testing,commissioning and setting work of control system at Jaber Al-ahmed WDC
