We all know how dangerous and fatal it is, for one to mess with electricity. I was fortunate enough to be groomed and guided by professionals as I worked my way up as a Linesman with High Voltage electricity cables across the country here in Zimbabwe until I was appointed a Team Leader. My early role involved loads of manual work which encompassed digging, climbing poles to maintain or repair underground or overhead electrical cables. I would be supporting qualified personnel in Insulator or conductor changes. I have experience in winch and tensioner operations. I was engaged by my seniors in fibre optic installation which involved reading and interpret ion of fibre optic diagrams. I was also very active in Tower construction and assembly, which involved construction of transportation and distribution lines between power plants, individual buildings or homes. Team work is essential in my line of work and I am quite a keen individual who will appreciate any learning opportunities that may arise in my line of duty .

Community Involvement and community involvement: Our life in a deprived area restricted us to many activities as there wasn\'t anything designed for the young. The majority of most the day , I grew up a young helpful man. I would work up early and look after elderly people within our area. Caring after them made me realise what an important role this meant for these lovely family around me . I also realised that this showed initiative , empathy and gave me the ability to see beyond my personal interest.
