Production Supervisor/Senior Technician

Tasks Engaged.

• Hands on Machine Repair, maintenance, Installation, troubleshooting, modification and locally fabricate machinery spare parts to cut production costs.
• Management of workshop Machinery and spare parts store
• Direct Organization, management, motivation, appraisal, supervision and training of 9 machine operators and over 38 staff in a unionized environment.
• Requisition and negotiation with supplier for the procurement of spare parts.
• Account for raw materials released by frequently minimizing waste from 9% to 1.2% and increased production by 37.8% (from 40% to 77.8%).
• Interpretation of Machinery Blue prints.
• Service and repair of Pneumatic compressors and hydraulic pumps $ supervision of main boiler.
• Ensure Production of quality products, safe working conditions for staff and the machinery.
• Writing and presenting of weekly and monthly production reports.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S and application of safety and Environmental protection conduct.
• Liaise with management in Production planning and Budget control through daily procurement of factory consumables.

• Assist Production Manager in Formulation of monthly production Plan.
• Repair, maintenance, installation of three (3) machinery plants.
• Direct Supervision, motivation, appraisal and organization of 34 staff.
• Training of up to 60 new staff in the factory annually
• Ensure safe and good working conditions of 34 staff and machinery.
• Modification and fabrication of Machine parts.
• Formulate weekly and monthly service schedules and implement them.
• Service and repair of Pneumatic and hydraulic compressors and pumps.
• Participation in interim and annual ISO 9000 and 9001 Audits.
• Supervision and operation of other printing machinery and cutting like the guillotine Machine, Grinding machine and other PLC machines.
• Designing and modification of Machinery parts

• Engine diagnosis, maintenance and overhauling.
• Auto Electrical Equipment diagnosis and Repair.
• General Vehicle Repair, maintenance and overhaul.

• Lathe machine operation.
• Milling machine operation and other workshop machinery.
• Welding.
• Cleaning of the floor after work.
