The project is located in 4 separate adjacent plots. Each plot accommodates a super tall \r\ntower and podium area with 3 to 4 low rise buildings on each podium. \r\nRole & Highlights: As HSE engineer, entrusted with all HSE related matters – hazard analysis, job \r\nsafety plans, training, incident investigations, reports to top management backed with appropriate \r\nmeasures. \r\n• Handpicked - Hyundai Engineering and Construction (HDEC) approved HSE engineer. \r\n\r\nSabha Al Saleem University City Project, Kuwait \r\nClient: Kuwait University Construction program; \r\nProject Management: Turner Projacs; \r\nConsultants: SOM/Gulf Consultancy. \r\nMain Contractor: SEG Qatar \r\nDescription: The Student Activities and Athletic Facilities (SAAF) at the University comprised of 10 \r\nbuildings with gross area of 96,000 sq.mt - 2 main, recreational athletic facilities, student centre, 2 smaller \r\nrecreational facilities, 2 information booths, Student Union headquarters, intercampus bus transportation \r\nstation besides 2 major spectator facilities, 2,000 seat indoor tennis centre and 1,000 seat outdoor soccer \r\nand track/field stadium. \r\nRole & Highlights: As HSE engineer, performed hazard analysis and sketched risk assessment plan for \r\nall key activities while monitoring all control measures. Took charge of all training needs and analysed \r\ntrends to make recommendations for improvements. Troubleshot problems, conducted incident and \r\naccident investigation with follow-up action to minimise recurrence. \r\n• Identified as Kuwait University Construction program approved safety supervisor. \r\n• Succeeded in conducting a safe operation covering 12MT structural steel erection at 15,000 seat \r\noutdoor soccer and track/field stadium without any loss to injury or recordable incidents. \r\n• Assisted top management in completion of Group and Regional IMS surveillance audits and \r\ncertifications. \r\n\r\nJio World Centre, Mumbai \r\nClient: Reliance Industries Ltd., (RIL); \r\nPrincipal Contractor: Samsung C&T\r\nDescription: A dream project –an 18 storey high-rise building with height of 65.87mter and worth \r\n$US678M with structural steel erection of around 35,000MT steel. A multi-utility project comprising of a \r\nstate-of-the-art Convention Centre and Exhibition Centre, flexi hall and banquets, a world class theatre \r\nwith seating capacity of 2000 people, high end retail, offices and commercial establishments and ultra-\r\npremium residences. \r\nRole & Highlights: As HSE Engineer, collaborated with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to \r\nsketch the entire action plan for risk mitigation. \r\n• Carried-out EHS programs with conformance to Government regulations, safety guidelines and \r\nindustry best practices. \r\n• Bagged the ‘Best Performer Award’ and management recognition for continuous and active \r\nparticipation in ‘Suspended Personnel Rescue Operations’ drills and training from Samsung C&T. \r\n• Achieved 4.7M safe man - hours on completion of erection of 34,720mt primary structural steel \r\n• 125,000sqmtr at DAICEC project without any lost time injury incidents. \r\n• Implemented a new legal compliance tracking register. Streamlined HSE Observation course for \r\nfull compliance.\r\n\r\nChennai Metro Rail Ltd Phase 1- Corridor 1, Tamil Nadu, India \r\nClient: Chennai Metro Rail Ltd., (CMRL) \r\nDescription: CMRL Phase 1, Corridor 1 covers a length of 23.085km from Washermenpet to Airport with \r\n55% of the phase being underground and remaining elevated. It involved extensive geotechnical \r\nexcavations and investigation while managing underground utilities like sewage lines, potable water lines \r\nas well as overhead live electrical cables. This stretch had also been the most populated place for \r\nvehicular traffic. \r\nRole & Highlights: As Assistant HSE Engineer. \r\n• Scripted the HSE plan, conducted risk assessment and ensured strict adherence to HSE \r\ncompliances and audits. \r\n• Liaised with concerned Governmental authorities, traffic stations, police departments for smooth \r\nworkflow and support. \r\n• Trained employees on EHS programs and on safe work habits.
