I have the essential abilities, information, and experience to succeed as a Health Care Support Worker-SCS because I am a dedicated Health Care Assistant who prioritizes improving residents\' everyday lives via compassionate care.
First and foremost, my experience as a Health Care Assistant at Medline Recruitments Ltd has provided me with a strong foundation in the core skills required for the role of Health Care Support Worker-SCS. In my current position, I have been in charge of securely chaperoning residents to doctor\'s appointments and hospital trips, assisting residents with daily tasks like washing and dressing, doing blood tests and blood pressure checks, and keeping an eye on changes in their physical and mental health. In order to keep records current, I have also carefully collaborated with nurses to maintain high levels of communication. I have also done care paperwork and tracked patient development.
In addition to my practical experience, I have undertaken various training and certifications to develop my skills and knowledge further. I recently completed a PMVA/PBM/MVA course, a Breakaway & Restraint Specialist course, and a Mandatory & Statutory (Practical) Training Course. These courses have provided me with a deeper understanding of preventing and managing violence and aggression, positive behavior management, and manual handling, among other topics. I have also completed a Basic Life Support course and hold a Prince2 certification.
