FIRM: GROWING STAR AGRIVENTURES\r\nDATE: FEB 2013 - APRIL 2018\r\nPOSITION: FIELD OFFICER \r\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\r\nMobilization of community to form enterprise based common interest groups/Farmer/Producer group (Organization).\r\nGuiding the common interest groups/Farmer/Producer group (Organization) to draw specific Enterprise Development Plans (EDP).\r\nCollection of baseline information for all common interest groups\'s members.\r\nConducting Participatory Planning Workshops in order to participatory develop work plans and budgets and/or to undertake project activities.\r\nEmpowering common interest group members to undertake appropriate on farm crop and animal management measures to boast productivity.\r\nTraining farmer groups on good agricultural practices to increase crop productivity.\r\nCapacity building on climate change mitigation and adaptation mechanisms.\r\nProvision of farm management support services for crops and livestock enterprises ensuring maximum crop/livestock establishment and production to meet budgeted yields.\r\nMonitoring the efficiency of agronomic chemicals applied on crops and recommending application of beneficials and supervising their application.\r\nEnsuring health and safety of workers is not compromised at all times.
