Sales Assistant - Home Bargains - October 2016 - Present\r\n\r\nWork at Home Bargains is very varied and very hands on. My usual duties involves stocking the store’s shelves from cages provided immediately after delivery. Due to the wide variety of products Home Bargains sells this is a constantly varying task, that frequently involves rearranging entire shelving areas in order to adequately and effectively display the stock. At other times I’m required to work on the shop’s checkouts, help organise the warehouse, assistant customers with a variety of demands, provide my best customer service skills, and adhere to Home Bargains’ Four Priorities.\r\n\r\nAssistant Manager - The Sloop Hungry Horse - February 2016 - July 2016\r\n\r\nThe Sloop, as a pub operating under Greene King’s Hungry Horse brand, is a large, busy, family friendly pub restaurant with a varied clientele. Working as Assistant Manager here required an ability to manage staff effectively, delegate tasks in a fair but efficient manner, as well as stepping up and being the front of a large, nationally recognised brand. Other tasks include the cashing up, responsibility for the safe, stocktaking, ensuring the staff adhere to health and safety legislation, the brand’s required specs, and of course a high standard of service.\r\n\r\nProduction Operative – Harrier LLC – February 2015 – February 2016\r\n\r\nHarrier LLC is a print works that deals with a variety of companies including Boots and Snapfish. The department I worked in was responsible for the printing of digital camera photos. I undertook a variety of roles at Harrier, including loading photo development cassettes in a dark room, operating photo cutting machines, dispatching orders, and loading digital print machines.\r\n
