Contract: I was Resident Engineer on was the Charleville Water Supply Scheme, Cork.
I worked on behalf of the Local Government. Works included trunk and distributor water mains as well as individual connections to properties by micro tunnelling.
• Supervised contractor and ensured works were carried out according to contract and approving monthly account from contractor.
• Liaised with Local Government & Residents regarding road closures & diversions and water service shut off time. Approved traffic Management Plans.
• Reported to Local Government on progress of project.
• Costs to Local Government were kept to a minimum through ensuring works were kept within contract specifications and scope of works.
• Quality was maintained to ensure highest standard of finish.
• Participated in meetings and kept minutes/ notes of meetings.
