My role at Oteac involved undertaking welding, fabricating, lifting and testing work. I gained experience at my time at Oteac in the following;

• NDT pad eye inspection (MPI & DPI)
• Sling inspection
• Load testing
Part of my role was to maintain relationships with customer representatives and within my testing and refurbishment role, I ensured that all equipment was inspected, repaired and tested to standards and accreditations held by Oteac.

I completed my four year apprenticeship in Welding Fabrication and have also attained an SVQ Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding. While serving my apprenticeship I worked on a variety of jobs, ranging from the following;
