Employment History

March 2015 – January 2016
Flight Centre UK
Business Analyst – Contract, London

• Assigned as lead Business Analyst on one of the largest current IT projects at Flight Centre (FC) UK.

• This project was to replace the current telephony system, both in stores and offices, from a PBX solution to a cloud based contact centre solution.

• My involvement was to attend and analyse potential telephony supplier presentations, gather the business wide technical requirements, convert these into an RFP (Request for Proposal) document which was then sent out to all suppliers selected to be part of the RFP process.

• Once the supplier responses had been received, I ran several workshops with the aim of scoring each supplier’s response. Each RFP question was assigned a weighting, and then answers were scored based on their compliance and relevance to FC.

• I then presented these Technical, Financial and Company results to the IT Director. This information was used to select the supplier who will carry out the telephony platform changes.

• I then worked with the chosen supplier to support the implementation of the new telephone system.

• I was also involved in various other IT projects, from a requirements gathering, documentation, testing perspective. Some of these include introducing online payments, sourcing a new intranet, Office 365 roll-out, and RBAC (Roll Based Access Control).

July 2014 – December 2014
Warner Bros
Business Analyst – Contract, London

• Subject Matter Expert for the Theatrical Marketing Financials Information System (iCampaign).

• Business Analyst on two projects for the above mentioned system:

– Finalising requirements on a Marketing Plan Submission upgrade, and seeing the enhancement through to Go-Live. Co-ordinated UAT successfully with teams in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and UK.

– Project initiation and requirements gathering for the EMEA Rollout of iCampaign. Travelled to Turkey, Czech Republic, Austria and Poland to demonstrate the system benefits and also to gather requirements in order to deliver the best solution possible to each territory.

• Working closely with offshore development / testing teams in USA and India respectively.

• Development and maintaining of Functional Design Specifications and System Prototype documents.

• Assisted in System Testing and managed User Acceptance Testing through to successful completion within a strict deadline in order to meet Go-Live.

May 2013 – April 2014
Sony Pictures Entertainment
Business Analyst, London

• Application subject matter expert for three Home Entertainment systems across the UK, Germany and Poland territories: Sales & Distribution, Manufacturing / Ordering, and Finance / Invoicing (SAP).

• Responsible for creating Project Initiation / Business Case documents, scoping technical and financial feasibility (Change Requests & Projects).

• Development of detailed functional requirements used by our offshore development team to create technical design specifications. Close alignment with technical analysts / development teams to ensure that changes delivered specified functionality.

• Creation of test scripts and scenarios. Delivery of UAT, including analysis of test results, problem identification and resolution, in collaboration with the technical analysts.

• I managed, maintained and developed relationships with business users across Europe, and was part of a team of delegates sent to our finance office in Gdynia, Poland to implement a phase of an IT change project. This involved meetings with the international team, collaboration with end users, relationship building, and a good opportunity to practice my Polish.
