Firstly I would consider myself highly flexible, as I have lived in many different cultures from UK all the way to Slovenia.
Secondly I am the only sub-specialised doctor in Slovenia who performs a whole plastic reconstruction of vulva by himself and I am even contracted by a Clinic for Aesthetic Surgery in Ljubljana.
Thirdly my current position has gained me a solid leadership and teaching skills which I consider valuable. I am also often asked to pass on my knowledge abroad of Slovenia.
I also am a Consultant in this area and am always prepared to learn even more and give my best for the good of the Hospital and its Patients.

18 years of experience in overall gynaecological medicine as a specialist. Sub-specialised in aesthetic reconstruction of vulva and treatment of vulvar cancer - radical vulvectomy with inguinofemoral lymphadencetomy. Including all laparoscopic procedures in oncogynecology. Executed roughly 170 radical vulvectomies. Besides that I have done around 1500 sling operations.\r\nAnother Qualification of mine is teaching younger specialists, as I am currently the Deputy Head of the Surgical and Educational Department of Urogyneacology in University Clinical Centre of Ljubljana.

Interests & Hobbies:

I am still extremely interested in medical science and reading/learning will always be a part of who I am. I frequently take part in International Symposiums, as this connects my passion for medicine and travelling/ getting familiar with other cultures. I enjoy taking care of my health (doing fitness, walking and running). I also am a local art enthusiast.

My current position is a Deputy Head of the department of gynaecological operative therapy and I have been on this position for a 4 years now. I also am a Doctor-in-Charge for on-call services for all three department of the SPS gynaecological clinic(perinatology, gynaecology and department of reproduction). \r\nBefore(2003-2004) I have been a Gynaecologist at Obstetrician, Maternity Department, which was the beginning of my career (around 6000 births per year.)
