2015 – 2018 (Kota Kinabalu office, Malaysia)\r\n Senior Civil-Structural Designer\r\n Responsible for the design of special pipe support of 24“ main header pipeline to mitigate the pipe vibration.\r\n Perform engineering support at offshore for the installation of special pipe support to mitigate pipe vibration.\r\n Perform engineering support for the 2017 KBB Turnaround by conceptualizing strategy for the removal & reinstatement of 300 number of shutdown valve and manual valve at offshore.\r\n Perform engineering support for the 22 tons shutdown valve replacement by conceptualizing handling strategy from top deck to sea deck installation\r\n Perform engineering support for the 100 tons boiler replacement by conceptualizing strategy for the removal & reinstatement without damaging nearby equipment/structure and ensuring no hicups during installation \r\n Responsible for the lifting plan & methodology of heavy lift valve, complicated handling installation and fabricated transport module\r\n\r\n Responsible for the structural framing modification, deck extension, special pipe supports, equipment support, service platforms and required steel detailing for Onshore & Offshore \r\n Built PowerPoint presentations using drawings and 3D models\r\n Demonstrated how drawings can be produced from 3D model for the structural department\r\n Perform supervision at offshore if required for critical installation \r\n Reviewed shop drawings for compliance with design specifications including connections, erectability and shipping limits. Ensured details were safe, of high quality and cost effective\r\n Conducted visits to fabricators for project start up and resolution for critical issues\r\n Provided technical support to 3rd party detailers using applicable Building and OSHA codes\r\n Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and communicate issues up the chain of command\r\n Troubleshot field issues and performed site visits as required for problem resolution \r\n Attend relevant meetings with client, such as HAZID, Design & Constructability Review, Model Review and PEER review\r\n Coordination of 3D modelling activities of the team with other lead discipline designers to maintain the clash free model\r\n Monitor the assigned package ensuring that the drafting activities are carried out within the established time schedule and within allocated budget of man-hour\r\n Perform checking for the drawings against basis and mark-ups before issuance to the supervisors for further quality checking\r\n Perform coordination with the assigned Drafting Team to ensure uniformity in design and drafting activities\r\n Provides technical support and guidance for all designers and drafters\r\n\r\nProject Involved:\r\n Kebambangan Petroleum (Malaysia) Consultancy, Engineering & Design\r\n
