As a care home worker, I\'m committed to providing my patients with the best care possible. I love to make people laugh and I always practice compassion and understanding of my patients.
In my current volunteering job with St. Francis Desales a special needs school with many various categories of students that need special care, ranging Dementia, mobility problems, and many others as a care worker, I always report to school before the reporting dates for students, to organise the dormitories and create clear pathways for ease of movement, organise the dining rooms and classes so as to cater for every student irrespective of their life challenges.
To me, I believe helping those that really need my assistance is a blessing that I can never leave untapped whenever I am in the position to do so. I have excellent interpersonal skills and am extremely patient and resilient. These skills have helped me tremendously with the emotional aspects of the job. In addition, I am proficient in administering medications and am well-versed in safety protocols and guidelines.
