I am compassionate, reliable, flexible and dependable caregiver trained in 15 care certificate standard courses. I love to work tn care and make a real difference in the lives of people especially the vulnerable and the elderly. I provide personal care that empowers individuals to live safely, and happy with dignity and respect. Some of my responsibilities include, Helping patients with personal care such as, washing and dressing, laundry and changing bed sheets, performing light housekeeping tasks, assisting patients with medication, providing companionship to patients, running an errand for patients such as grocery shopping and prescription pick-up, ensure secure living condition for patients, reducing the risk of harm and ensuring they are comfortable. updating patient files , daily notes and care plan, supporting the patients to move around in the hospital. In 2015, i served my Dad as primary caregiver because of his deteriorating condition due to cancer. He needed a lot of assistance to perform day-day activities, which includes taking to hospital 2-3 times a week, feeding, bathing and doing personal care for him before he passed away in 2017.
