Volunteer Care Assistant at Idawekwako Old People\'s Home:\r\n\r\nProvide high standards of care for elderly people with focus on everyday care such as personal hygiene and general well-being. Promote and encourage independence while assisting service users with daily routines including administering medication and personal care. Assist with general cleaning, tidying of rooms and sanitising kitchen work-spaces to promote client happiness and safety. Maintain excellent client relationships by going the extra mile to attend to their needs and provide ongoing support. Assist in the rehabilitation of service users, including walking, talking and movement activities, completing as instructed in care plans. Act in the best interest of service users whilst ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.\r\n\r\nLocal coordinator at Zimbabwe Students for Liberty:\r\n\r\neriodic visits to adults and the elderly affected by HIV/Aids as well as supporting and providing guidance to young people and children affected by childhood trauma. Collaborate with local Old People’s Homes and Children’s Homes to conduct celebratory activities for public holidays such as Easter and Christmas and spend the holidays celebrating with residents of those homes.Periodic visits to people living with disabilities and spend the day doing games and activities with them. Voluntary activities of cleaning and doing laundry for people living with disabilities. Take part in a variety of programs and events such as community clean up campaigns and sanitary wear donation for underprivileged girls. Provide career guidance for children living in children’s homes.\r\n\r\n
