A passionate, result oriented Civil Engineer from Kenya

I express strong desire for \"Community development\" I like engaging with others to foster some sense of belonging, impact positive change and create awareness among youth through \"Peer education.\"\r\n\r\nSustainable development has been an integral part in my career. My Bachelor\'s thesis sought to tackle climate change and pollution control. This is and still a strong field of research that I yearn to explore more.\r\nMy primary hobby is travelling. FUJITA MITSUBISHI CORPORATION\r\n July 2022- Present (Assistant Site Supervisor) \r\nKey Roles: Monitoring efficient project progress, ensuring compliance with safety and construction specifications.\r\n2. VAPCO CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED\r\nMay 2019- June 2022 (Assistant Civil Engineer)\r\nKey Roles: Overseeing RCC structural works: formwork, steel bending, fixing and concreting. Interpretation of structural drawing and preparing bar bending schedules. Preparing BOQs, payment certificate, work measurement. Surveying works: setting out and maintaining grade and structural levels. I also represent my employer in professional capacity.\r\n3. GAB INTERNATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED\r\nJune 2018- Sept 2018 (Engineering Intern)\r\nMy primary role in overlaying Mombasa-Malindi Highway included material testing and quality assurance.
