Logistics Supervisor needed in Saudi Arabia

Skills Provision is searching for a Logistics Supervisor for a Sports and Recreation Company in the Middle East.

The Role

• Prepare and finalise processes and requirements for all applicable events.
• Prepare all required documentation for distribution to all parties.
• Prepare all training material, as required, for the scheduled sessions.
• Support training sessions, as required.
• Ensure all communication channels (telephone, internet) are functioning.
• Capture incoming data, build daily schedules and deliver to security by the required deadline.
• Before, during, and after events, communicating with vendors, drivers and operators to facilitate a smooth entry into and from the site.
• Handle all related enquiries.
• Help create post event statistical and performance reports.
• Assist in end of day preparations for next morning’s deployment of tools and equipment for each team’s scheduled tasks.
• Ensure all contractor crew time sheets are correctly filled out, and ready for review and signature
• Prepare monthly labour tracking reports for Finance
• Prepare the Projected Labour Costs for the following month for all required departments’ approval.
• Assist in dealing with any last minute, unscheduled requests

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years Event Logistics experience, preferably within the motorsport/sports/service industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent administration skills.
• Able to build schedules and manage the results.
• Experienced in directing multinational crew.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and for long hours
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in a similar role, is essential
