Skills Provision is searching for a Logistics Manager for a company in Norway.

Our retail-based client requires a manager to oversee their Logistics department.

Salary & Benefits

• 950,000 NOK p/a

Role

• Manage company invoices.
• Manage shipment consignments.
• Work with sales to resolve customer complaints, production, and carrier issues.
• Negotiate logistical contracts.
• Manage weekly meetings with shipping clerks and related personnel.
• Assist with production scheduling.
• Establish, update, and implement department procedures and standards of service
• Daily analysis of logistical elements.
• Maintain and file orders, inbound shipments, and miscellaneous information.
• Complete new order requirements and verify pricing.
• Prepare documents for exporting as required.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Management experience in logistics.
• Management experience in retail.
• Ability to manage people and processes.
• Strong understanding of shipping.
• Analytical thinker and detailed mindset.
• Hardworking nature, inspirational character.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English.
• Strong IT skills.
• Travel essential for this role.
