Assistant Restaurant Manager needed in London

Skills Provision is searching for an Assistant Restaurant Manager for a well-known chain in London.

Salary

• £28,300 p/a

The Role

• Meet and greet customers and organise table reservations and waiting lists
• Present menus, answer customer queries and make suggestions regarding food and beverage options
• Listen and respond to comments and questions of every guests and pay attention to regular table checks
• Ensure fast and accurate guest service at all times and solve guest problems the best way possible
• Supervise staff compliance
• Responsible for resolving customer issues and provide relevant support to staff in resolving customer complaints
• Check the average ticket delivery time of foods & beverages
• Check all takeout orders are accurate before signing off
• Assist in development and motivation of the team

Requirements

• Ability to demonstrate good supervisory skills and to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to communicate with both customers and colleagues at all levels of seniority and liaise effectively with other internal departments
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to obtain information, determine course of action and follow through to successful resolution, escalate where appropriate
• Be driven and enthusiastic about food & beverage sales
• Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise and work effectively within an often busy environment, whilst maintaining compliance to company policies and procedures
• Ability to grasp new concepts quickly, generate fresh and innovative ideas.
• Good IT knowledge
