Interests: fish processing and aquaculture. I am actively looking for a career in fisheries sector. Both my academics and work experiences are from my home district and neighborhood district of Kerala, India. 1. Field Assistant at International Research and Training Centre for Below Sea level Farming (IRTCBSF), Government of Kerala, India during November 2019 - March 2023.\r\nWorked as part of a government project titled \"Innovative approaches to climate resilient farming, biosaline agriculture and open water fish farming in Munroe Island, Kollam, Kerala.\" The island is located at the confluence point of Ashtamudi lake and Kallada river. The ultimate objective of this project is to promote aquaculture entrepreneurship among fishermen families in this island. Installation of two batteries of cage culture unit having six cages each (total 12). Inner cages having a size of 3x3x1.8m is used to rear the fishes. Outer net having a size of 3.8x3.8x2m is used for protection purpose. Pearlspot (Etroplus suratensis) and GIFT tilapia were the cultured species there. Pen net having a size of 80 m perimeter is installed in a site near to the mangrove fringes (silvo fisheries). Water sampling were carried out at fortnightly.\r\n\r\n2. Aquaculture trainee at department of Fisheries, government of Kerala, India.\r\nOpen water cage fish farming of pearlspot or green chromide (Etroplus suratensis), Asian seabass (Lates calcarifer), and silver pompano (Trachinotus blochii). Open water pen fish culture of mullets and silver pompano. Pond culture of milk fish (Chanos chanos), pearlspot and mullets.\r\n\r\n3. On the job training at National Institute for Fisheries Post Harvest Technology and Training (NIFPHATT), government of India.\r\n\r\nFish preservation, quality analysis, HACCP, canning, smoking, and packaging of fishes.
